Nice spacious place with good vibes. Would recommend reserving before. Got the loaded nachos, simple, good taste, good quantity. For mains for the fish tacos and chicken enchiladas, both tasted good. The enchiladas gravy was in particular very tasty. Nice stop overall

A nice little Mexican restaurant that offers happy hour specials and a large option of food items to choose from. The food was okay but nothing really stood out to me. This place is on the pricier side for the quality you get but you’re paying for the location. Would recommend to stop by and try out some small items.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Manhattan. Delicious food (my favorite dishes are steak tacos and nachos), affordable, great service, a cool atmosphere, and a great piña colada. Greatly recommended!

If I could give this place 100 stars I would! They accommodated our party of 11 people when they usually do 7 or less and it was still amazing. Service was fantastic and we all really loved it! Will definitely be recommending this place to all my friends.

Everything is good in La Contenta. The best dishes for me are tacos de birria y las enchiladas. Definitely are amazing

The enchiladas suizas was very delicious, excellent flavor and well portion size for the price. Had a Piña colada which was very refreshing. The waiter was very attentive and server kept refilling the water glass…no need to ask someone. A restaurant in NYC which doesn’t charge a fee to use a credit card too! Definitely will be back here again. Had a great dinner experience.

Delicious and well-cooked food. The nachos portion is bigger than expected and a tough one to finish. The red sauce that goes with the enchiladas was amazing. I could eat only that with some nachos in the side.
